Excellent service from enquiry to final documents. I was particularly impressed by how clearly the trust options were explained — no legal jargon, just plain English advice.

Questions we hear most often.

  • If you die without a Will (intestate), your estate is divided according to strict legal rules — not your wishes. This can mean your partner, children, or close friends receive nothing, while distant relatives inherit everything. A Will ensures your estate goes to the people and causes you care about.
  • Mirror Wills are two separate documents that reflect each other's wishes — typically leaving everything to each other, then to children. They can be changed independently after the first spouse dies. Joint Wills are a single document binding on both parties and can cause legal complications — we don't recommend them. Mirror Wills are almost always the better choice for couples.
  • Most clients receive their draft documents within 3–5 working days of their consultation. Once approved and signed correctly, the process is complete. We can prioritise urgent cases — just let us know your situation when you book.
  • An LPA allows you to appoint trusted people to make decisions on your behalf if you lose mental or physical capacity. There are two types: Health & Welfare (medical and care decisions) and Property & Finance (managing your money and property). Without an LPA, your loved ones have no legal authority to manage your affairs — even a spouse — and would need to apply to court, which is expensive and time-consuming.
  • Yes — your Will can be updated at any time by creating a new Will or adding a codicil (a formal amendment). We recommend reviewing your Will after major life events such as marriage, divorce, the birth of children or grandchildren, or significant changes to your assets. Marriage automatically revokes a Will made before it.
  • Yes. We offer home visits across our service area for clients who prefer to discuss their arrangements in person, or for those who have difficulty travelling. Phone and video consultations are also available — whichever is most convenient for you.

Your family deserves the peace of mind a proper plan brings.
